Come and join us at the Fanatic Fun Centers in Caleta de Fuste and Costa Calma.
The fanatic Fun Center in Caleta is situated near the airport located at the sheltered sandy beach of El Castillo, Caleta de Fuste, next to the La Frasquita Restaurant perfect for beginners and advanced surfers alike because the wind blows from the North East providing the best conditions to facilitate the first steps on a board as well as for the more proficient. We can also accommodate children whom can have fun whilst learning to surf very quickly under the expert tuition of Peter and Ulrike
Approximately a forty five minutes drive with the bus from this location to the south of the island, passing a unique and almost desert like landscape with impressive lava fields and many goats, you will enter the southern peninsula of Fuerteventura, called Jandia. Here you can find endless sandy beaches with high sand dunes and Caribbean blue water. At the beginning of this peninsula lies the touristic centre, Costa Calma where you will find the bigger of our two windsurfing centres. The Fanatic Fun Center is situated in the middle of Costa Calma, directly underneath the Monica Beach Hotel (Sunrise Hotel chain) at one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. And that’s not all…. There is plenty of wind that blows in this bay during the trade winds (spring and summer). Here Michael, Jens, Yvonne and Jörg are only too willing and able to pass on their vast experience to help you take up the sport if you are a beginner or to fine tune your skills if you are an advanced or expert surfer.
Everything is possible at our windsurf centres, it doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, advanced or an expert, everybody is welcome. Our V.D.W.S. accredited instructors and our modern teaching methods will help you at the beginning or at learning new advanced techniques. There is no previous knowledge necessary. We provide the whole equipment from wetsuit to board.
Also your age isn’t important. It doesn’t matter whether you’re 8 or 80 years old!
